DISA NexGen

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)'s Next Generation Engineering (NexGen) Contract:
FCI's Prime DISA NexGen contract currently consists of numerous task orders with over hundreds of tasks and subtasks, which collectively provide life cycle management support for various SATCOM/TC, GIG/DISN, NCES, and C4ISR systems, including command and control, facilities, communications, airborne platforms, telecommunications services, enterprise computing, future engineering requirements, and information systems.

SETA support areas include program management; requirements definition and analysis; architecture development, assessment, and trade-offs; concept and policy development; system planning; systems and network engineering; systems and network design; system interoperability; interface/technology standards; information assurance and security; synchronization of Service/Agency space, ground terminal, and network control centric architectures; test, evaluation and certification; modeling and control system development; technology insertion; network integration and implementation, and network and operations management to support the engineering and interoperability of DISA’s core mission areas, such as GIG/DISN, DII-COE, JC2/NECC, NCES; IA; Electronic Business/Electronic Commerce; and National Military Command Systems.

• The DISA NexGen contract provides a full range of Information Technology (IT), SATCOM, and network engineering services, capabilities and enabling products to support DISA worldwide, DoD and other federal agencies. The NexGen contracts support DISA mission to "plan, engineer, develop, test and manage programs and to acquire, implement, operate, and maintain information systems for C4I and mission support under all conditions of peace and war."
